Jennifer Garner does not keep up with the media buzz surrounding her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

In a new interview with Stellar Magazine, the 13 Going On 30 star revealed that she tries her best to avoid reading any media coverage of her famous ex, as the couple remains friends and co-parent their children.

"I really work hard not to see either of us in the press," she told the outlet. "It doesn't make me feel good, even if it's something nice about one of us. I just try to forget that I'm out there in any way, and the same with anyone I love. I don't need to see anyone in my family made into a meme."

Garner and Affleck, who is now married to Jennifer Lopez, share three children: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. The Air star has been the subject of various memes over the past decade, from viral interview clips to his reactions during the 2023 Grammys.

When asked if she has seen any of the memes of her ex on social media, the actress said she has not, adding, "Although I'm sure he's quite meme-worthy, yes!"

In a March interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck opened up about his co-parenting relationship with Garner and prioritizing time for his kids.

"One of the reasons I [decided to run my own company] was, I'm divorced. I share custody. I don't want to go to Austin and New Orleans and Georgia anymore and not see my kids. It just doesn't work," he said. "These years are too important. If I miss them, I'll regret it for the rest of my life. And then I thought, 'OK, well, if I'm in Los Angeles and I'm in an office and I'm doing this work, I can step out for the basketball game or the jazz performance.' So I protect those things."
