Leticia Michelle Wright, a Guyanese-British actress was born on October 31st, 1993 in Georgetown, Guyana.
She made her acting debut in minor roles on the television programs Top Boy, Coming Up, Chasing Shadows, Humans, Doctor Who, and Black Mirror. For the latter, she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.

Wright was chosen for the 2015 class of BAFTA Breakthrough Brits by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for her role in the film Urban Hymn, which served as her breakthrough performance.
She received widespread acclaim in 2018 for her performance as Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Black Panther, for which she received both a SAG Award and an NAACP Image Award. In Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), which became the second-highest-grossing movie of all time, she reprised the role.
